Partner’s Forum – A Powerful Reunion in Puri (October 2023)

In October 2023, Action Village India hosted a deeply inspiring Partners’ Forum in Puri, Odisha — our first face-to-face gathering since 2018. This powerful four-day event brought together long-standing partners from Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, alongside national representatives from Ekta Parishad.

The forum reaffirmed our shared commitment to building a just, fair and inclusive India, where all people — regardless of gender, caste, ethnicity or belief — have the opportunity to thrive and lift themselves out of poverty.

It was also an important moment of transition and renewal, offering partners the chance to meet our new Executive Director, Kavita Pandey, whose presence and engagement laid the groundwork for her visits to partner communities in early 2024.

The gathering strengthened bonds, deepened dialogue, and celebrated the vital, community-rooted work our partners continue to lead across rural India in the face of widening inequalities. It marked a hopeful and energising chapter in our journey together — one grounded in solidarity, humanity and collective action.
