Exhibition: Roots and Changes – Gujarati Influences

  • Monday May 17, 2021 - Sunday August 1, 2021

This exhibition and events series (April to August 2021) highlights the influences of the Gujarati diaspora in the UK. It focuses on the London Borough of Brent and is told through INFLUENCERS; these are selected personalities who live in London, are of Indian origin, and have been successful in their area of expertise, knowledge or practice. Audio-visual media taken from lengthy oral history interviews and tangible objects of personal importance tell their fascinating story and outline their contribution to British life.

The Brent Museum is at 95 High Rd, London NW10 2SL and the nearest tube stations are Willesden Green or Dollis Hill.

Monday to Friday: 10.30 am – 2.30pm
Saturday and Sunday: 12 pm – 4 pm
The exhibition opens for the public on 17 May 2021
